Welcome to Tianjin Eye Hospital

  As one of the biggest eye center in China in ophthalmology, Tianjin Eye Hospital was established in 1924, which grew out of HuaYang Blindness Prevention Association of China. Now, the hospital is a National 3A level hospital directly . The hospital now is Nankai University Eye Hospital and the clinical college of Tianjin Medical University. Also, Tianjin Key Lab of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, Tianjin Eye Bank and Tianjin Blindness Prevention Office is located here.

   Among the 408 staff members, we have 122 ophthalmologists (65with high title), 109 nurses and 64 medical technicians.
   The gross building area of the hospital is over 40,000 square meters with 240 beds. The hospital treats about 2,000 patients everyday and one million patients per year. We give 30,000 operations and have 17,000 in-patients each year.

    The hospital is famous for its medical care in Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology, Cataract, Optometry, Refractive Surgery, Vitreous and Retinal Disease, Glaucoma, Ocular Disease and Ocularplasty Surgery, Corneal Disease, etc, and we will keep committing our efforts on these disciplines.       (Statistics, 2011 )
